I wrote this song about the crazy amount of constant background noise we live with. The TV, the radio, conversations, the highways, the airplanes—all of it. The noise isn't necessarily bad, but it's there. Most of the time I don't even think we're aware of it. But have you ever noticed how uncomfortable it is to sit in complete silence? It's weird. But I also think it's really cool just because it happens so rarely for a lot of us. So when you find yourself in silence, take a few deep breaths or something and savor the moment.
